For so long, it has been impossible to be an Angels fan. No longer. After 42 years, the Angels have done the impossible, they've won the World Series. This book gives you the background on how they got there. I highly recommend you read the compelling story of their humble, and later tragic, beginnings. You can fill the glory in later.

Having been a fan of the Angels since before I was born, yes that's right Mom was pregnant with me at an Angel Game. My parent's had season tickets the first year they were in Anaheim. I have been an Angel fan all my life and season ticket holder for a good portion of my life. My husband and I have been to several years of spring training, all the way back to Palm Springs Days.

I thought I knew about the Angels, boy was I wrong. This book gave me insights in areas I did not know.

THIS BOOK IS WELL WORTH THE PRICE. I FOUND IT A VERY DETAILED AND WELL WRITTEN HISTORY OF A TROUBLED FRANCHISE. THE NUMBER OF TRAGEDIES IS ALARMING. THE FRONT OFFICE BLUNDERS AND THE IMPATIENCE OF THE MANAGEMENT LED TO MUCH OF THE LACK OF SUCCESS ALSO. GENE AUTRY DESERVED MUCH BETTER THAN THE MUDDLED AND INCONSISTENT SEASONS THEY ACHIEVED. A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY ANGELS FAN. FROM ALBIE PEARSON, DADDY WAGS, AND DEAN CHANCE TO JIM EDMONDS AND TIM SALMON THIS IS A GOOD HISTORICAL LOOK AT THE ANGELS. MUST READ.

A great insight into the path to the nhl for the mighty ducks of anaheim. an insight into the players and coaches which make the team who they are. In such a competitive league (NHL) It shows great courage to join the league. Overall a great book and i highly recomend it to any mighty ducks fan or to anyone who enjoys a kind of feel good book

I have taken one star out for illustrations. There is none.
However, the book is very helpful if you're traveling with a tight budget. Price admissions in one chapter is very handy as you don't need to travel between chapter back and forth.

The rankings for each attraction according to different ages helped me out in choosing which parks to visit with my 5 year old child.

There is even a chart to help you plan your days and how much you'll spend in them.

Though certainly colorful, this book looks like it was thrown together by a grade school yearbook staff.

There are incomplete stats, edited stories, and a complete lack of any sort of focus or narrative. It feels like someone just tossed some random articles with some random photos and thought it complete. The layout is geometric and boring.

The CD is really the worst sort of waste. All that space (for interviews, or film, or stats, or sounds, or more photos, or ANYTHING) is filled by a few bad photos and more useless, bland info.

On the other hand, it is about the Angels incredible run, and includes World Series Game 6, the greatest game in Angel history. Wait for a discount before buying unless you're an Angel fanatic!

Anaheim Angels World Series Champions is a fantastic book, It contains High lights and stories from all season long, the exciting playoff against the Yankees and Twins; and the fantastic world series. Its also filled with Great photos and a CD-ROM filled with photo galleries, stats, rosters, wallpapers and web links and cool stuff. This is a perfect keepsake for the 2002 season is a must get for any and every Angles fan; and any baseball fan; and would make a great gift.
